Demelza’s Bridesmaids

Founder of TLWC Demelza Galica has worked in the fashion industry for nearly 20 years having graduated from the London College of Fashion in bespoke tailoring and product development. She worked for many years as production manager for one of England’s oldest and most prestigious fashion houses, Bellville Sassoon, where she was trained in the traditional methods of making bespoke Bridal, Evening and Occasion wear. Added to which she travelled the World sourcing materials and specialist manufacturing and has built strong relationships with many suppliers in many different places.

When the inevitable wedding rush started she found herself being asked more and more for high quality, yet simple and affordable bridesmaid and pageboy outfits and first created the line 5 years ago. Today there are more lines added, while still retaining the simple ethos of giving brides the ability to build their outfits to match their theme and budget.

From simple cotton dresses to elaborate silk taffeta ones with net skirts and covered buttons, you can simply find your basic shape and add the details you want to them. From collars to sleeves, sashes, covered buttons and even coloured trims.There are 18 coloured taffetas to choose from and swatches are available to order. Each piece will be made to your specification and you can choose when you receive it. If you need to, you can invite your wedding party to meet with one of our TLWC ambassadors who will show you the collection and help you to work out the sizes you require. Demelza’s love of all things simple, and elegant and her experience in product development as well as her enviable black book of suppliers has helped her to form The Little Wedding Company concept which has taken the essence of the bridesmaid dresses and transferred it to all the other wedding products that appear on the site, so you can design and co-ordinate everything from your outfits to your decorations.
